Mint Condition is a family run training company employing three Level 3/4 personal trainers with a huge 80 years of experience between them! The management team of husband and wife Ginny and Nick Upshall are the driving force of Mint Condition.

 

Ginny Upshall - Director/Founder - Personal Trainer

Ginny's Background: Mint Condition was founded back in 1991 by Ginny Upshall. Ever since her school days Ginny has dreamed of running a high-class fitness club, which offered clients tailor-made programmes on a one to one basis in an environment to suit them. Ginny is the master trainer at Mint Condition and is the inspiration of many of the cutting edge concepts that Mint Condition offer.

Training: Ginny qualified in 1992 with Premier Training International and is now a qualified CHEK Holistic and Lifestyle councillor, DRUMMOND pre and post-natal exercise coach, accredited Pilates teacher and dance exercise instructor.

Ginny's Clients: Ginny has worked with various celebrity clients through to clients with serious injury, clients looking for weight-loss and more.

Sporting Interests: Ginny loves to dance and move. Is passionate about exercise and great healthy food and is continually inspiring those around her to do the same!

 
 
 

Nick Upshall AAI - Director - Personal Trainer

Nick's Background: Having started as a personal trainer in 1996, Nick has accumulated a vast amount of experience and knowledge. Nick has now completed over 30,000 hours of one-to-one training time with clients. Nick additionally specialises in rehabilitation and strength training for athletes and non-athletes for acquired and inherited Neurological disorders like cerebral palsy and stroke in both children and adults.

Training: Nick qualified as a Level 3 trainer in 1996 and has developed a broad base of fitness and lifestyle qualifications. Nick has trained in the CHEK Institute in California, Focus and Lifetime Training in the UK along with further training in the USA, Europe and London. Nick is also a qualified Sports Psychologist with Newcastle College. Nick is an accredited ARNI instructor for brain injuries.

Nick's Clients: Nick works with clients from many walks of life and currently works with clients looking for weight-loss, care following injury or surgery, needing improved sporting performance. Nick is the former strength & conditioning coach to Georgina Hermitage MBE, triple Paralympic and World Champion T37 Athlete amongst others.

Sporting Interests: Nick is a road cyclist, a mountain biker, roller-blade marathoner, wannabe F1 driver and all round gym bunny!

 
 

Mollie Head - Personal Trainer

Mollie’s Background: Mollie’s love for sport started whilst studying PE GCSE and playing netball at school. After joining a local gym at the age of 14, Mollie found a passion for exercise and dreamt of turning that passion into a career. Now a fully qualified personal trainer, Mollie’s passion is helping people find their way in the fitness world.

Training: Mollie studied Sports A Level at college and then qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer in 2017 with Premier Global. Whilst training with Premier, Mollie also obtained qualifications as a Circuit Training Instructor, Kettlebell Instructor and more.

Mollie’s Clients: Over the past 5 years Mollie has worked with an array of clients and helped them on their fitness adventure, whether that be weight loss, rehabilitation, sport specific or maintenance. Mollie is happy to help anyone and everyone with their journey and is glad to be part of it.

Interests: Mollie enjoys daily walks with her dog Maverick and loves training him, even if it is a working progress! Mollie recently found a love for renovating and interiors after buying her first home in 2020. When she’s not training clients (or Maverick!) Mollie likes to spend weekends in Selsey on the beach with her husband.

 

Skye Upshall - Personal Trainer

Skye's Background: Daughter of Nick and Ginny Upshall, Mint Condition was a second home to Skye growing up. Skye has spent many hours in the gym watching and learning from the best. She has always enjoyed creating her own gym workouts for herself and friends.

Training: Skye trained as an apprentice here at Mint Condition and completed her training in 2023. Skye hopes to further her training and has interests in sports massage and rehabilitation.

Skye's Clients: Skye works with a variety of clients who all love training with her. Skye’s apprenticeship allowed her to train with exsisting clients whilst learning and getting to know them. Now fully qualified, Skye’s client base is rapidly growing with people from all walks of life.

Interests: All things cars and race car driving, particularly Formula 1. Skye also spends her time training the family dog Ruka who recently placed at Crufts. She loves fashion, digital art, going to the gym and drinking coffee!
